Vice President, 2024/2025 session
Kofi Obeng-Ayirebi holds MSc Construction Management, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Management, Quantity Surveying, and Arbitration after graduating with BSc (Hons) Building Technology from KNUST in 1989.
In his quest to acquire more knowledge and diversify into other professional and knowledge areas, he has been trained as a Mediator from the Judicial Training School of Ghana in 2012, a Certificate in Financial Securities from the Ghana Stock Exchange, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (IPMA-UK), a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM-UK), a Certificate in Project Management (Prince2), a Diploma in Arbitration and Accredited Diploma in Mediation (RICS)-UK.
He is a Professional Quantity Surveyor, a Chartered Marketer, Arbitrator, Expert Witness, Value for Money, Project Audit and Forensic Practitioner, Project Management, and Procurement Practitioner in the Built Environment with many years’ experiences. From the vast knowledge acquired through academic and practical field training, Kofi was motivated to establish Oakbuild Consult Limited (Training Firm Registered and Recognized by Ghana Institution of Surveyors), a Quantity Surveying firm of which he is the Managing Director.
This knowledge has been the vehicle used for the development, cost management, construction, and completion of many projects, preparation of strategic marketing plans, resolution of many disputes using Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms (ADR), and managed some reputable projects in Ghana.
