Surv. Ing. Dr. Tina Dzigbordi Wemegah is a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS). She holds a PhD in Traffic and Transportation Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation with a specialization in Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, and a BSc. in Geodetic Engineering.

Dr. Wemegah has extensive experience in academia and professional practice. She has worked with RUDAN Engineering Limited and is currently with Accra Technical University, where she has served as the Head of the Civil Engineering Department and now serves as the Vice Dean for the Faculty of Engineering. Her expertise has contributed to numerous national projects, including the Land Administration Project (LAP 1), inventory of state lands, the National Feeder Roads Inventory, and the West Africa Power Pool Projects.

A dedicated member of GhIS for over a decade, Tina has served in various leadership capacities. She has been a Governing Council member of GhIS, Chairperson for Surveyor’s Week and AGM, Vice Chairperson of the Land Surveying Division, Chairperson of the Finance Committee for the Land Surveying Division Sub-Committee, Secretary of the Land Surveying Division, and Vice Chairperson of the Education Committee of the Land Surveying Division. Additionally, she has contributed to various committees within the Governing Council and Land Surveying Division.

Dr. Wemegah’s passion for excellence and governance in surveying has made her a respected leader and professional in the field, inspiring her peers and future surveyors alike.
