Dr. Anthony Arko-Adjei

Surv. Dr. Anthony Arko-Adjei is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geomatic Engineering at KNUST. He has over twenty-two years of experience as a Professional Surveyor licensed by the Lands Commission and works as a private consultant in land surveying, land administration, and GIS. Dr. Arko-Adjei has contributed significantly to the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS) in various roles since becoming a professional member in 2008, including serving on the Governing Council (2014-present) and leading various committees such as the Welfare Committee and the Membership Committee. He has also represented GhIS at multiple fora, including the Western Regional Lands Commission and stakeholder consultations on the Land Bill. He is currently the Senior Vice-President of the Institution.

Surv. Dr. Anthony Arko-Adjei has served in several leadership roles within the institution and remains an integral part of GhIS's governance. He also continues to contribute significantly to the development of land surveying practices in Ghana.

Qualifications:
  • PhD in Land Administration, Delft University of Technology (TUDelft), Netherlands
  • MSc in Geo-Information Management for Cadastral Applications, ITC, Netherlands
  • BSc in Geodetic Engineering, University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana
