Surv. Isaac Larbie holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration (CBA), 2012 from The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He earned a Master’s Degree in Geoinformatics from ITC, Enschede, Netherlands (2005-06) and a B.Sc. Geodetic Engineering (2nd Class Upper Division) from KNUST, Kumasi (2000-03).

Professional Experience:
Surv. Isaac Larbie is the Deputy Director in the Survey and Mapping Division (SMD) of Lands Commission, Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.
He has over 28 years of professional experience in the land surveying industry and has actively participated in Ministerial and Divisional meetings, workshops, and seminars.
- Co-ordinator for SMD on the CBD and RPRD activities for the LAP Project (2015-18)
- Member of the GHANA-CÔTE D’IVOIRE ITLOS Judgement Implementation Committee (2017)
- Member of the GHANA-TOGO Maritime Boundary Negotiation Committee (2018)
- Presented at local & international conferences, including AfRES 2015 (Kumasi), FIG Malaysia 2014, FIG Bulgaria 2015
Current Position:
Surv. Isaac Larbie is currently the Ashanti Regional Surveyor. He has risen through the ranks to the Grade position of Deputy Director at the Survey and Mapping Division (SMD).
