Emmanuel Kofi Cobbold is a Partner at Valuation & Investment Associates, a Ghanaian registered properties management consulting, fixed assets valuation, and project management company. He has extensive real estate consulting and functional experience acquired from the various responsibilities and assignments he has performed over the past 28 years. Specifically, he has several years of experience in private and public sector assets valuations, project management, management consulting, feasibility and viability studies, brokerage, value for money audits, market research, and business valuation.

He is the Vice President and a Fellow of the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and the immediate past Chairman of the Valuation and Estate Surveying Division of the Institution. He is a Board member of the Real Estate Agency Council, the regulatory body for real estate brokerage practice in Ghana.

He was elected a Professional Member in 1998 and elected a Fellow in 2013 and has been on Governing Council since 2010. He was the Chairman of the AGM Planning Committee in 2013 and a member of the AGM Planning Committee between 2013 and 2016. He chaired the 50th Anniversary Planning Committee which introduced the GhIS Anthem and the Anniversary Cloth. He chaired the Library Board between 2012 and 2015. He has been an active member of the VES Divisional Committee since 2000 to date and has served in many sub-committees of the Division including CPD, BOE R&D, and also the Treasurer between 2011 and 2013. He has been a resource person at VES Divisional Conferences and has been a regular speaker at the orientation for newly elected members since 2012.

Surv. Emmanuel Kofi Cobbold (FGhIS), MBA (Finance) from the University of Ghana (2004), B.Sc. (Hons) Land Economy from KNUST (1993), a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (2006) from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)-UK, and a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance (2004) from ACCA-UK. He holds a Certificate in (ADR) Mediation (2013) awarded by the Judicial Training Institute of Ghana, Accra, a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) by the International Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts, and is a member of the African Chapter. He is a member of the African Real Estate Society (AfRES), affiliated with the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), and the Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE). Surv. Cobbold was one of the authors of the GhIS Valuation Standards 2023 (the Golden Book).

Kofi Cobbold fellowships with Zoe Temple, Tema, of the International Central Gospel Church and is a member of the ICGC Projects and Assets Committee.
