The WinS team interacting with students of St. Cyprian Anglican Basic School during the outreach program.
On 28th November 2025, the Women in Surveying (WinS) team visited St. Cyprian Anglican Basic School 1 & 2 in the Amasaman area as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting the surveying profession and inspiring the next generation.
During the outreach, the team engaged the students in an enlightening session, highlighting the diverse opportunities available within the surveying profession both locally and internationally. Students were also guided on the relevant high school courses needed to pursue a future career in surveying.
As women professionals, the team also educated the students—especially the girls—on menstrual hygiene, emphasizing the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene throughout one’s cycle. The session was interactive, informative, and well received.

The outreach was a truly fulfilling experience for the entire team, and we are grateful for the opportunity to brighten the day of these young learners.
