The Institution carries out research on various thematic areas from time to time. As spelled out in the Institution’s Constitution, the researches seek to achieve the following objectives;

  • Advancement and facilitation of the acquisition of that knowledge which constitutes the profession of a surveyor

  • Promoting the general interests of the members of the profession

  • Contributing to the development of international and national policies and legal frameworks, strategies and plans in land management in a manner that facilitates sustainable development
